PBO Revisited

Going back to PBO, Precision Boost Enhancement, we made the following changes:

  • Set the curve optimizers to a negative 20

  • Boosted CPU frequency by 200Mhz

  • Increased the EDC limit from 190 to 210

All of the above settings were changed individually and stress tested to make sure that the system remained stable. The results were as follows:

I am pleased with the results and thought it was worth the effort to get a few more percentage points of improvement out of the system. Remember, your mileage may vary.
